Our Merry Little Christmas

Santa came!!!!

The stockings were a huge hit! Emerson's favorites- nailpolish, bows & clips, sunglasses, cell phone, and a kid Cliff bar
Blake's favorites- a recorder, bus, slinky, sunglasses, matchbox cars and trucks, and a harmonica

Their new baby doll cradle.

The biggest hit of Christmas- a new kitchen!

They got busy cooking eggs right away:)

My little Belle couldn't believe she had her own sparkly nailpolish!
Dadda's favorite stocking stuffer, a whoopee cushion!

After stockings we had a special breakfast. The kids loved eating by candlelight. I think we'll do it more often:)

Can't go wrong with a truck!

I thought they would get bored after awhile. But, they opened present after present until they were all opened. They took periodic breaks to play with the really cool ones!

Food for their kitchen. When they took naps later in the day Emerson wanted to sleep with the pretend milk and Blake slept with the juice. :-)

Blake loves Eric Carle books. So do I!

A high chair for her baby dolls.

Blake's reaction..."Whoa!"

Sonora's favorite present occupied her for a few hours.

Princess shoes! Blake loves the Cinderella and Snow White ones. Pics of that coming soon!

Their first baby dolls, twin bitty babies from American Girl. Doesn't the boy look just like Blake? Emerson even calls him Buddy!

Blake playing his recorder while admiring his new T-Ball set.

A great gift from Aunt Kristyn. Now that the kiddos know their colors we are moving onto shapes and the alphabet!

Just about finished. Dadda looks wiped!

Biggest hit #2- Radio Flyer horse on springs!

All dressed up for Christmas dinner at Aunt Buffy's house.

The little kids table

We had a wonderful holiday this year! The week was packed with parties, special events and time with family. It was our first Christmas at home with the twins and was so special. We began some of our own family traditions and I look forward to making this time of year special for my family each year. Blake and Emerson knew that since they were good this year Santa was going to bring them toys. They also understood that the cookies we made were for Santa and he was going to eat them when he got to our house. I'm hoping that next year the twins will be able to attend church with Jeremy and I and that they will understand the true meaning of Christmas!
