Love, Love, Love

Blake is 6 months!

Our little cowboy isn't so little anymore! What happened to my 6 pound baby boy? Blake is growing so fast it is unbelievable. He is our sweet little man. Blake enjoys rolling around, playing with his sister, playing with balls, petting Sonora, watching bubbles and most of all chewing on his fingers. I think those little teeth aren't too far away!

Emerson is 6 months!

Our little peanut is 6 months- hard to believe! The best way to describe her is "cute as a button". She loves to talk and laugh. She has also been trying to crawl. It is the cutest thing you could ever see. She gets onto her hands and knees, rocks back and forth, moves a few steps then face plants. She is very active...always wiggling and rolling. We will be chasing her before we know it! She still loves songs and stories, playing in her exersaucer, and her swing. Her all time favorite activity is playing with her big brother. She saves some of her best smiles for Blake!

Weekend in Payson

There is nothing better on a Friday afternoon after work than packing up the car and heading with the family up to the mountains. We had a wonderful weekend in Payson. No rain, but the days were warm and the nights were cool. It was beautiful. The babies were there for the second time, but this time they really got to enjoy it. We layed a large quilt out on the screened in patio and they played, played, played! It was wonderful watching them using all their senses. They obviously love the fresh mountain air just like their mommy and daddy!

Back to school

This has been a very busy week. I spent the week in meetings and setting up my FIRST GRADE classroom. Last night was "meet the teacher" and I was able to meet 21 out of my 24 students. This is the largest class I've ever had, but they seem like really sweet kids and nice families. I even have two sets of twins, one boy/girl and two girls! The beginning of the year is always very busy and a little chaotic, but I do love the sharp pencils and crayons, straight chairs, and new little shy faces. None of those last long!
It is heartbreaking to leave the babies each morning, but I am so fortunate to know that they are in the great care of my parents all day. They have been having a blast with Grammy and Grandpa!
