John's 40th Birthday

Over the weekend we went to the ranch (again!) to celebrate Jeremy's brother's 40th birthday. Just about all of our Arizona family members were there and we had a great time hanging out and eating lots of food!

Father's Day Weekend

We decided to go to the ranch for Jeremy's first Father's Day weekend. We got to Prescott and immediately went outside to see the amazing sunset.

The babies tried rice cereal for the first time on Friday night!
Blake...not so sure
Still not so sure

Emerson's turn
"Whoa! What is this stuff?!"

"Yum!"
Saturday was another amazing day. We started the morning by going for a walk and introducing the babies to the ranch animals.

Then we spent all afternoon hanging outside in the shade under a Giant Sequoia tree.

I love my boys!!!!

The dogs had fun too!

Getting ready to go home after a fun filled weekend.

Happy Father's Day to all the daddies out there... especially my dad who has been the best dad a girl could ever want. And, of course, my husband who I love more and more every day. Our babies are blessed to have such a loving wonderful dad!

Happy 4 month birthday Emerson!

Our amazing little Emerson (a.k.a. Em, Peaches, Darlin', Little Love) is 4 months! She is just beautiful and doing so much. Her favorite toy is the jump swing. She loves the water (swimming and baths), being read to, singing silly songs and enjoys listening to her daddy play the guitar. She "talks" all the time and is starting to giggle. It is the cutest girly giggle you will ever hear! Emerson's smile sparkles and lights up the room. She is a very happy baby!

Happy 4 month birthday Blake!

Our sweet Blake (a.k.a. Little Man, Buddy, Buster, Big Brother) is 4 months! He is growing so fast and is such an amazing little boy. He still loves to cuddle and is definitely a momma's boy. He also still looks like me but is changing more and more each day and starting to look a little like Jeremy. He is getting strong and enjoys practicing rolling over, sitting and standing. Blake's favorite toy is the exersaucer. He is using his hands to pick up objects and push buttons, but he mostly likes to put his fingers in his mouth! He is very mellow and takes in everything around him. I give him about a hundred kisses a day....he is just so cute!

Goooo Blake!

We've been working on rolling over for the past few days. Blake has now got it! He's rolled over about 10 times on his own. We are proud of him, but not more proud than he is of himself!

Miracles can (and do) happen!!!!!!

Well, we knew we wanted to go up north for the weekend and we were deciding between the ranch in Prescott or the cabin in Payson. We decided to go to the ranch and headed up to Prescott on Friday evening. Jeremy's brother's family went to the cabin. Shortly after we arrived at the ranch, we received a call from John. He told us that when they pulled up to the cabin they saw DAISY in the neighbors driveway!!!!! Of course I immediately wanted to drive to the cabin. But, it is a long and windy road so we left in the morning. We picked Daisy up in Payson and then headed home. It is truly a dream come true! After being gone for two weeks she is alive and she is well. She's very skinny and has scratches all over her feet, legs, ears and belly. But, she's happy and eating and drinking a lot of water. We can't imagine what she went through. Payson has had some harsh weather in the past few weeks. Daisy hates to be cold or wet and she's scared of thunder. She miraculously was able to stay out of the path of the bears and mountain lions in the area. She's a fighter! She is home and we couldn't be happier!!! Thank you John and Tina for taking good care of her when you found her!

Our crazy Daisy!

Daisy took an afternoon nap next to Sonora and stayed there until the babies woke up from their nap

Our newest toy

Jeremy and I headed to Babies R Us on Saturday to find a new fun toy for the babies. We saw the exersaucer and had to buy it! Blake watched Jeremy putting it together and was very excited to try it out.

He was also very upset when his turn was over!

Sensory overload!
