Happy Thanksgiving!

Funny little girl.

LOVE

Just about all the pictures I take these days turn out something like this! Silly little monkeys!
Emerson and Blake LOVED their candy/cookie turkeys. They were still talking about Grammy's turkey on the way home:)

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! We are so blessed and truly thankful for all that we have; the big things, the little things, life is good! We spent our Thanksgiving at Jeremy's parents house for a fun-filled, delicious dinner. We are so thankful to have our family nearby, and we are excited that more family may be here in the very near future!:) I stopped at a beautifully decorated house on the way home to get the kids excited for the Christmas season. They already have the "Santa spark" in their eyes!

Monday morning hike

We had some rain last night and woke up to the wonderful, fresh smell of the desert. We all decided to put on some cozy clothes and head to the mountain to enjoy it. I was so proud of Blake and Emerson. They climbed to the top of a small mountain all by themselves, climbed down holding my hands, walked a little further on a trail, then we all RAN back to the car. The perfect toddler workout! Needless to say they are now sleeping soundly:) Such a fun way to start the week out!

Our first carnival!

Over the weekend we took the kids to their first carnival!

First stop...a spinning bear to kids warmed up.

Next stop- the super slide. We all loved it, but I think Jeremy enjoyed it the most!

Time to ride the ferris wheel.

Emmie loved it!
Last stop- helicopter ride.

A HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Koll, Blake, Lexi, Emerson, Charlotte

Frankenstein and Pirate- Arrrr

Starting to get the hang of it...
After a few houses...pro's!

Blake being a good neighbor and bringing them their paper:)

Blake and Emerson had a fabulous time trick-or-treating with their buddies. I originally wanted them to be Dorothy and the Scarecrow thinking that this would be the last year that I would get to choose their costumes. I was wrong! Turns out that last year was the last year that I would get to choose costumes. Emerson insisted on being her favorite princess, Belle. Blake REALLY wanted to be a shark. I looked and looked for a shark costume but the only cute one I could find was way too expensive and I thought there was a good chance he would refuse to put the big head on. Pirate was our runner up as his favorite show is Jake and the Neverland Pirates. He was the cutest little pirate! He refused to wear his costume to any of the pre-Halloween festivities we attended. But, he rallied Halloween night. (It may have had to do something with the fact that I told him he couldn't get any candy if he wasn't in his costume:) We had a little pre-party/dinner here with our friends and then headed out. By the second house they were pros. I think they could have gone on for hours, but after going up and down the block we called it a night. The kids had just as much fun passing out candy when we got home as they did trick-or-treating. FUN night!
