YEAH WILDCATS! John (Jeremy's brother) and his friends threw a fun party to watch the game yesterday. The babies had a blast sitting outside and watching the big kids play football and chase. They got to spend time with their Grammy and Poppy Bobby and cousins, Chance and Ainsley.

A Very Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I have so much to be thankful for... a loving husband, two beautiful children, a wonderful supporting family, a job I love and a happy home. What a nice day to count our blessings and spend time with loved ones!

Jeremy and I took the babies to Jeremy's Aunt Chris and Uncle Tom's house for Thanksgiving. The babies met some of their great aunts and uncles and second cousins for the first time. We had a yummy feast!

Emerson's first tooth popped out today...just in time for some turkey and mashed potatoes!

* not much hair but it's finally starting to come in (blond with a little strawberry tint)

* loves to eat and is great at eating finger foods
* sleeps from about 8:00pm- 7:00am
* usually wakes up once in the middle of the night
* loves to climb
* bounces up and down and "dances" to music
* has the brightest shining smile you've ever seen and girliest giggles and belly laughs
* is very serious when she first meets strangers and may stare them up and down- give her a few minutes and she'll climb all over you!
* likes to be chased and can crawl FAST when being chased
* likes to push balls back and forth
* loves to start her day by hanging out and playing in her brother's crib
* mommy's girl
* loves to swing in her new backyard swing
* she is our talker- she babbles and squeals and will imitate our squeals then laugh hysterically
* cruises with ease and starting to walk independently with a walking toy
* gives high 5's, and is just starting to clap
* likes to use a pacifier occasionally but doesn't need it
* will reach to hold Blake's hand during breakfast (can melt your heart!)

We love you, Emerson. You light up our life!

* has 4 teeth (2 on the bottom, 2 on top)
* loves puff snacks
* dislikes having his mouth wiped
* can stand playing for a very long time, can reach down to pick up toys- strong!
* hasn't liked pacifiers since he was about a month, but now picks them up and out of his sister's mouth to chew on
* beautiful blue eyes and blond hair (straight with a little wave)
* often has bumps and bruises
* loves his dog Sonora
* enjoys listening to the songs on Barney
* LOVES his bottle and holds it on his own
* claps his hands
* learning to wave bye-bye and practices in his crib at night
* when we ask, "How big is Blake?" he lifts his arms up "SO BIG!"
* smiles easily
* very easy going and go with the flow
* sleeps from about 8:00pm- 7:00am
* usually sleeps through the night, but needs a bottle around 5:30am
* likes to cuddle for 5-10min. after he wakes from a nap (precious moments)
* loves to play with toys
* can cruise along the entire couch and transfer from one standing toy to another (Yikes- I know what's coming next!)

Blake and Emerson are 9 months!!!

On November 1st they were 37 weeks and 1 day which is the amount of time I carried them for. Is it really possible they have been out of the womb longer than they were in? Crazy how time flies!Their 9 month appointment is on Wednesday so I'll post their updated stats, newest milestones and some new pics later this week!

Blake's first toothbrush

Blake now has 3 teeth!!! He just got 1 on the top and has 2 on the bottom. We decided it was time to get him his first "big boy" toothbrush. He loves to have his teeth brushed... especially when he gets to do it himself!
