Visit with Grammy and Grandpa

I've been debating whether to get a real tree, fake tree, or save myself the hassle with no tree. I decided that since it is our first Christmas at home with the twins we should get a real tree. The kids "helped" with decorating and it looks really pretty. Blake and Emerson stay away from it for the most part, but we have had a few casualties. They love when we turn the lights on at night. We are all enjoying the pine smell and I don't even mind picking up the needles every day.

Blake's favorite ornament- the blue truck!
Grammy helping with the decorating.

Grammy and Grandpa got them a cookie at the mall. Mmmmmmm

Grammy and Grandpa spent the last week and a half with us. They spoiled all of us the entire time. Blake and Emerson enjoyed showing them their favorite places (zoo, Children's Museum and park) on the days I went to work. Jeremy and I enjoyed coming home to cooked meals every night. Thanks mom! Jeremy and I also got to spend some couple time together. Two date nights in a row and sleeping in in the morning! I don't think we've done either of those things since before I was pregnant! We'll miss you Grammy and Grandpa (or as Em calls them...Ne and Bapa) and can't wait to see you in February!

The Poinsettia Festival

Visit with Santa

Grammy and Grandpa

1...2...3...Weeeee!

We love the bouncy house!

Emerson stopped to give Dada a kiss.

Blake stopped to give Grammy a kiss. Awww:)

Showing off her forward rolls

Sharing shaved ice with Grammy.

Poo Poo

Emerson showing Mommy, Daddy, Blake, Grammy & Grandpa her first poo poo in the potty.

Blake flushed her first poo poo.

Blake and Emerson both got stickers on their potty charts!

Last night Emmie-Belle looked like she needed to go poo poo after her bath. I asked her if she wanted to sit on the potty and she said, "yes!" I quickly rushed her to the potty (the real one) and held her there. About 10 seconds later- voila! Poo poo! And, yes, I blogged it:) I have some other close up pics that Jeremy would not let me put on:)

Happy Thanksgiving

Little turkeys B & E made for Aunt Barbi:)

We spent Thanksgiving with my aunt, uncle and cousins. My aunt hosted a delicious Thanksgiving and it was nice spending time with my family. The kiddos loved their meal and the gingerbread cookies my aunt bought for them. We have so much to be thankful for!

Poncho

Last week we dog sat Jeremy's mom's dog, Poncho, for a few days. The kids loved him and thought he was hysterical. He has a long tail that would knock them over and they would double over laughing. Sonora had fun with him too. It made us miss having two dogs!

Turkey Hats

Blake and Emerson come home from "school" every day with a fun craft. I thought these turkey hats were super cute!
