Goodbye Miss Jennie!

Last week was the last week of school (woo hoo)! But, that also meant saying goodbye to our wonderful Miss Jennie. She has watched the kids on the days that I work for the past 2 years. Blake and Emerson LOVE her and all the kids that she watches. Jennie always had fun activities planned and it was so nice for Jeremy and I to be able to go to work and know that they were being loved and cared for. Jennie is moving to Singapore and we will miss her so much!

Cabin Weekend

We drove up to the cabin this past weekend for the first time this year. The weather was gorgeous, the wildflowers decorated the property, the water was flowing, and the fish were biting. The kids enjoyed every minute and Savannah behaved herself beautifully. FUN birthday weekend for me...can't wait to get back up to the fresh mountain air!

You were the biggest, fattest fish I've ever had in my whole life. I can't believe we had you for almost 2 years!

Yay for Blake and Emerson!

Emerson and Blake have been potty trained for some time now, but they continue to wear diapers for naps and bedtime. Last week Emerson asked to wear undies for nap time, so we tried it out. She has stayed dry every nap time since then! Blake wanted to try today. Although he had 3 water bottles full of water this morning, we still tried it out. He was so excited before nap time; I just had to take a picture! He stayed dry and requested to call Grammy right away when he woke up to tell her the good news! Good news for me....perhaps my days of buying diapers are finally coming to an end- yay!

I had a lovely Mother's Day! I was able to have dinner with my mom on Saturday night and a nice visit with Jeremy's mom on Sunday. Then, I spent the afternoon swimming with my kiddos for the first time this year and ended the day with a delicious dinner made by Jeremy. The kids were very excited to give me these adorable pictures they made. Being a mom is the best job there is!
