If Blake and Emerson go to Uof A they will be 4th generation!

Blake crawled a little...

but only because Emerson kept trying to suck on his feet! There's nothing like a little sis to get you moving. I feel so lucky to be able to witness these little moments each day!

Emerson's new favorite activity

Emerson has always loved being read to. Now she likes to look at books by herself. The other day she was even turning the pages. Too cute! I think she is going to be a reader like her momma. Maybe someday I will get to read again too :-).

Weekend Fun!

This past weekend we spent time with our cousins from North Carolina. The babies met their second and third cousins and their dogs too! Although Emerson was having some tummy troubles we had a great time!

Blake is 5 months!

We're in high chairs!

Well...sort of. Emerson doesn't quite fit into hers yet. The babies are doing better eating solid foods. They've had yams, carrots, peas, and occasionally prunes when needed:) Next week I may make some green beans. Emerson is the messiest eater I've ever seen in my whole life!

Our Final Farewell

Jeremy couldn't find her on Monday, and there she was, sleeping in the babies' closet!

On Monday we had to say our final goodbye to our little Miss Daisy. She has been on a downward spiral for about 6 months now. We are pretty sure that she had a brain tumor. A few weeks ago she had a horrible seizure and things got really bad. It was a very hard decision to put her down, but we knew it was best for her. She lived a life full of love and adventure and we were blessed to have her. Daisy brought so much love and joy to our lives and will be greatly missed.

Happy Independence Day!

We stayed in town for the babies first 4th of July. On Friday night there was a festival at the country club by our house. We walked there, had a picnic dinner and enjoyed the fireworks. We weren't sure if Blake and Emerson would like fireworks or be scared. They fell asleep in their stroller shortly before the fireworks started. But, when they heard the loud boom they both woke up. Immediately both of their eyes were glued to the sky. They LOVED it! On Saturday their Grammy came over and spent the afternoon with us and playing with the babies...fun weekend!

Our New Couch

We FINALLY got a much needed new couch. We bought it on Tuesday (the one year anniversary of the day I found out I was expecting) and it was delivered today. The babies looked so cute in their new outfits from cousins Peyton, Parker, and Pierce!
